Business Execution Senior Manager - Airlines & Analytics

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking Business Execution Senior Manager – Airline & Analytics.

Lead the development and execution of global airline sourcing, supplier management, and analytics strategies to optimize travel program performance, traveler experience, and financial outcomes. This role is responsible for managing strategic airline partnerships, analyzing travel data and market trends, negotiating supplier agreements, and delivering actionable insights to support business decision-making.

The position partners closely with Travel, Procurement, Finance, Risk, and senior leadership teams to monitor key performance indicators, identify optimization opportunities, and drive continuous improvement across the global travel program.

Success in this role requires deep airline industry expertise, advanced analytical capabilities, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations that support organizational objectives.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility
• Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives
• Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
• Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement
• Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables
• Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk
• Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 3+ years Management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in airline management, corporate travel, aviation, travel procurement, or business analytics.
• Deep understanding of the global airline industry, including airline economics, network planning, distribution channels, alliance structures, contract negotiations, and revenue management practices.
• Demonstrated expertise in analyzing travel program performance, airline spend, traveler behavior, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools and reporting platforms, including Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and other business intelligence solutions.
• Experience developing and utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, dashboards, and predictive analytics to support strategic decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Aviation Management, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and executive recommendations.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage strategic airline partnerships and supplier relationships while optimizing cost, service, and traveler experience outcomes.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization and collaborating across travel, procurement, finance, operations, risk, and executive leadership teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior executives and external partners.
• Knowledge of travel industry data sources, airline contracts, travel management company operations, and global distribution systems (GDS) preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and change management capabilities with a track record of driving measurable business results.

• This position offers a hybrid work schedule for three days in office two days remote
• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
