What you'll do

  • Support the enhancement and embedding of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment ("RCSA") framework across business units, helping to strengthen the control environment and promote a consistent, standardised approach to risk and control assessment.
  • Plan, coordinate and support the end-to-end RCSA engagement cycle, including stakeholder engagement, preparation and circulation of workshop materials and agendas, attendance at workshops, minute taking, action tracking and documentation updates.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained and key decisions, actions and control updates are clearly captured.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of risk data, RCSA assessments and supporting documentation to ensure completeness, consistency, accuracy and adherence to agreed methodologies and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, control evaluations and agreed changes, ensuring clear traceability, auditability and evidence of stakeholder review and challenge.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to business units on the RCSA process, methodology, and control standards.
  • Apply strong project management discipline across risk initiatives to ensure consistency, documentation quality, adherence to agreed processes, achievement of key milestones and delivery of a robust, standardised and repeatable RCSA process across the firm.

About the role 

An opportunity has arisen within our growing Davy First Line of Defence team for the role of Business Risk Associate, supporting the continued enhancement of the Risk and Control Self (“RCSA”) framework and the embedding of consistent risk management practices across business units on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. We have 1x junior role and 1x senior role and we are looking for someone with 3-6 years of experience.

In the role, the successful candidate will: 

  • Support the enhancement and embedding of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (“RCSA”) framework across business units, helping to strengthen the control environment and promote a consistent, standardised approach to risk and control assessment.
