Key Responsibilities:
AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation - Serve as a liaison between the business community and IT organization. Collect, analyze, develop, document, communicate business requirements, provide project effort estimates and support user testing to achieve business goals as it relates to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Data Exchange Services. Act as primary EDI contact for suppliers, external customers, and internal business units. Act as the initial contact for any issues from our customers/suppliers technical groups. Communicate project requirements from customers, suppliers, and internal business departments to the rest of the team. Resolve transaction processing issues and follow department reporting and communication procedures. Complete project functional requirements for EDI projects using XML, HTTP, AXWAY B2B Integrator Gateway, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Suite, IBMITX, Lightwell, and SAP ERP. Write test cases and perform project testing. Resolve issues from suppliers, external customers and internal customers. Translate between technical and business language, work collaboratively, negotiating requirements and timelines across multiple groups. Establish and maintain liaison relationship with business partners and IT organization in order to provide effective technical solutions. Conduct data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements. Contribute to the business short-and long-term planning sessions and provides direction to ensure understanding of business goals and direction. Assess client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities and advice on options. Develop, write, and communicate business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of business solutions. Analyze customer’s operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities for improvements. Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. #LI-DNI
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with five (5) years of progressively responsible experience deploying EDI solutions using XML and HTTP. Experience must include: implementing and supporting production transactions and partner integrations using XML and HTTP-based interfaces, creating and executing test cases, validating results, and troubleshooting issues that can affect business-critical document flows; using EDI transaction sets, EDI file transfer tools, WTX/ITX, Axway Cyclone, WMQ, and IBM Sterling Integrator to transform/map transactions, manage secure file transfers, route and queue messages, and diagnose and resolve end-to-end processing problems, while delivering partner integrations, maintaining service reliability, and meeting customer and supplier requirements.
