A Business Studies Teacher is needed in a Mixed Sixth Form in South West London.

This Business Studies Teacher position will be full time and temporary in the first instance.

If appointed as a Business Studies Teacher you will be required to teach A Level classes only.

The rates of pay for this Business Studies Teacher post will be between £170 and £280 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

The Sixth Form

An Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Sixth Form, for pupils aged 16 to 19 years old, located in the London Borough of Lambeth.

Personal, Relationships, Sex and Health Education is a core part of the sixth form's ethos, being regularly taught to pupils by Form Tutors.

The building and facilities include but aren't limited to; music teaching/practice rooms, a drama studio, main hall, dining area, outside amphitheatre, graphics room, media room, art suite, fitness/sports space, ICT suites, large library, science laboratories and a horticulture space.

Cultural Perspectives are also a key part of learning, where pupils are taught about the wider world beyond the walls of the Sixth Form. Topics cover First Aid Skills, Space, Philosophy and Statues of Parliament.

Despite being a Sixth Form, the staff ask pupils to uphold a smart dress code.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you're a Business Studies ECT or experienced Business Studies Teacher.

You're also encouraged to apply if you're a UK trained Business Studies Teacher or overseas trained Business Studies Teacher.

As a must all applicants must have the following on order to be shortlisted for this Business Studies Teacher role:

• Right to work in the UK
• UK QTS or overseas equivalent
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• Experience as a Business Studies Teacher in UK schools
