Role summary

Join our team and play a hands-on role in modernizing expense-management workflows across the Global Corporate and Investment Bank. You’ll lead end-to-end delivery of tooling enhancements—driving automation, KPI dashboards, and controls-aligned process improvements in close partnership with business, ops, tech, and risk.

As an Associate in the Global Corporate and Investment Bank Expense Management team, you will help shape and deliver enhancements across the suite of workflow and tracking tools, including Exception Tracking, T&E Facilitation, Sponsorships & Donations, and Invoice Workflow.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of business and technology enhancements, from requirements gathering through implementation and post-launch support
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and design effective process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, technology, operations, and risk partners, to manage priorities, timelines, dependencies, and project outcomes
  • Support testing, training, change management, and user adoption activities to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, reporting, and the overall user experience.
  • Develop solutions to monitor key metrics and dashboards to track performance, risks, and operational effectiveness
  • Ensure solutions align with governance, controls, data quality, and compliance requirements
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging emerging technologies, including automation and AI capabilities, where appropriate

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in project management, business analysis, product delivery, or workflow tooling (e.g., operations tooling, finance/expense workflows, control-related workflows)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into user stories / acceptance criteria and run UAT
  • Strong stakeholder management across business, ops, and technology; excellent written and verbal communication
  • Practical experience managing plans, dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones in an agile or hybrid environment
  • Analytical mindset: comfortable defining KPIs, interpreting trends, and using data to drive decisions

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Exposure to expense management, approvals workflows, invoices, exception management, or policy-controlled processes
  • Experience with dashboarding/BI (requirements definition, metric design; hands-on is a plus)
  • Familiarity with automation concepts (rules engines, workflow optimization, RPA, straight-through processing)
  • Interest or experience in responsible AI/ML use cases (e.g., anomaly detection, classification, triage/routing) with a controls-first mindset
  • Structured problem solving; ability to simplify complex processes
  • Bias for action with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfort operating in a controlled environment (auditability, entitlements, documentation) and ability to balance near-term delivery with a longer-term roadmap and value story
