What you'll do
- Manage purchasing activity across materials, components and services.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and terms.
- Raise and manage purchase orders through to delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times and service levels.
- Work closely with production, engineering and planning teams.
- Support cost reduction and supplier improvement initiatives.
- Manage stock requirements and help maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Identify new suppliers and support supplier onboarding.
- Resolve supply, quality and delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information.

- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or a similar environment.

FindCore are delighted to be assisting an established manufacturing business with the recruitment of a Buyer.
Permanent, full-time position based in Manchester, with hybrid working available.
Salary
£35,000 – £40,000, depending on experience + additional benefits
