Campus Recreation & Fitness–BW Fitness Specialist position.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Must be a declared major in HPMS Exercise Science and have completed the Practicum Leadership class.
Desk responsibilities include answering the phone, scheduling fitness assessments and equipment orientations, answering members’ questions.
Supervise the fitness center and enforce policies.
Provide daily cleaning and upkeep of the facilities and equipment.
Serve as a personal trainer for member clients.
Understand all emergency procedures for the facility and be prepared to act in the event of an emergency.
Must have current certification in American Red Cross first aid and community CPR/AED or equivalent.
Must be able to work weekdays including early morning and evenings.
