'C++ & PKI Agent' Developer in Bangalore

Role Summary

This role focuses on developing and maintaining the PKI Agent, a device-side software platform running across Windows and Linux environments that enables secure device identity, certificate lifecycle management, device provisioning, secure communication, remote operations, and integration with enterprise PKI services across healthcare products.

The ideal candidate will possess strong C++ development skills, good operating system fundamentals, understanding of PKI and cryptographic concepts, and a passion for building secure, reliable, and scalable platform software.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Implement PKI Agent features and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain C++ components supporting PKI Agent functionality.
• Create and maintain unit tests and support system validation activities.
• Contribute to BDD-based test automation initiatives.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Support defect resolution, release readiness, and production-quality software delivery.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, and similar platforms to improve engineering productivity and quality.

PKI Agent Features

Contribute to:

• Device registration and provisioning
• Certificate enrollment and issuance workflows
• Certificate renewal, rotation, revocation, and recovery
• Device identity and trust establishment
• Certificate lifecycle management
• Secure device-to-cloud communication
• Mutual TLS (mTLS) authentication and secure connectivity
• Agent configuration and policy management
• Agent update and recovery workflows
• Job orchestration and operational workflows
• Reliability, resiliency, and performance improvements

Team Collaboration

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, estimation, and sprint planning.
• Work closely with Senior Engineers on technical solutions and feature delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and peer collaboration activities.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, QA, V&V, Security, and DevOps teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation and Quality Management System (QMS) deliverables.

Required Technical Skills

Software Development

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong C++ programming skills.
• Understanding of object-oriented design, STL, memory management, multithreading fundamentals, debugging techniques, unit testing, and automation frameworks.
• Experience building and debugging production software.
• Hands-on experience developing system-level or platform software.
• Familiarity with AI-Driven Software Development Lifecycle (AISDLC) practices and tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Continue, or similar AI-assisted development platforms.

PKI & Security Fundamentals

Good understanding of PKI and cryptographic fundamentals, including digital certificates, X.509 certificate standards, certificate lifecycle management, TLS/mTLS, certificate-based authentication, public/private key concepts, secure communications, and identity management. Experience developing, debugging, and supporting software running across Windows and Linux environments.

Windows and Linux System Fundamentals

Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, including services, processes, networking, file systems, security fundamentals, and application troubleshooting. Experience developing, debugging, and supporting software running across Windows and Linux environments
