- Manage inbound quote traffic from individual DAT postings and other carrier quote procurement tools to maximize margin
- Handle carrier escalations, surface loads with low interest, and communicate effectively to adjust pricing strategy and offer rates

- Communicate real-time market feedback and rate suggestions to pricing, tech, and customer teams to ensure competitive and efficient coverage

Department: Pricing / Truckload
Schedule: Monday-Friday, [0700-1600; 0800-1700; 0900-1800] Eastern Standard Time
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The role’s primary focus is ensuring the coverage of API freight, while serving as a central link between our carrier network and internal teams.
- Full-Cycle Load Coverage: Post, book, and ensure 100% coverage and compliance to operational standards for all API customer freight
- Strategic Sourcing: Manage inbound quote traffic from individual DAT postings and other carrier quote procurement tools to maximize margin
- Proactive Issue Management: Handle carrier escalations, surface loads with low interest, and communicate effectively to adjust pricing strategy and offer rates
OPERATIONAL STANDARDS
- Load Management: Monitor shipment statuses, ensure driver information is assigned prior to appointment times, and collect necessary documentation (POD, BOL) for prompt invoicing
- Process Optimization: Follow established booking protocols and continuously seek improvements to streamline account operations and service delivery
