Detailed Job Description

  1. Looking for a Solution Architect in Capital Markets (CM) domain who brings a blend of strong technical expertise combined with deep CM industry knowledge. 
  2. The candidate needs to be a strategic thinker with expertise and ambition to adopt emerging technology to build commercially viable solutions to address gaps & white spaces in the CM domain
  3. 15 – 20 years of experience in the CM industry or IT services industry with focus on CM / financial services verticals
    • In-depth knowledge in several areas of capital markets – sell side business processes. The candidate should have exposure in working on the front, middle and back office.
    • Should have worked in any one or more of the following areas: Equity and Foreign Exchange – Spot/Forward/Option/Swaps, Equity/FX Trade Lifecycle, Cash Flow management, Risk Management (credit, market, operational, counterparty), Exchange Traded / OTC Derivatives trade processing
    • Additional specialization in areas such as Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Commodities, etc.
    • Knowledge of vendor products such as Calypso, Murex, Finastra Summit, Charles River, Front Arena is preferable.
    • Constant up to date knowledge of the latest trends in the CM Industry and emergence of FinTech ecosystem
  4. Proven track record of building commercially viable CM solutions covering MACH principles - Micro services, APIs. Cloud, and headless Architecture
    • Candidate should have led Architecture definition & Solution Design and overseen end to end implementation programs 
    • Candidate should be able to define tech stack for a proposed solution and also lead the effort estimation
    • Be able to work with multiple technical teams and drive the solution development
    • Candidate should be well versed with emerging trends and technologies in the AI space and experience of building a GenAI based solution is a big plus. AI
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with target operating model definition, business case creation, program roadmap definition and organization change management 
  5. Stakeholder management including hands-on experience interacting with the C Suite (both business and technology) is mandatory
  6. Presentation skills with crisp and clear articulation of the solution are a must
  7. Must have experience of working with clients across multiple regions – USA, UK, Europe in a global delivery setup etc.
