What you'll do
- Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
- Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable)
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client

- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Completion of Massachusetts-approved Homemaker and Personal Care training (PHCAST)
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred (professional or personal experience)

Job Description:
Urgently Hiring
Pay: $20.00 – $22.58/hr, based on certification and documented experience
Availability Needed: Monday – Friday, Time Frame: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Make a difference where it matters most — at home. Elara Caring is hiring compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes.
Most client visits are 1–3 hours, and caregivers may visit multiple clients per day. Weekly hours depend on client needs, your availability, and your service area. Full-time hours may not be available immediately.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities depend on your certification level and may include:
- Companionship and household support
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Grocery shopping and client errands (Milage reimbursement is .72 cents per mile)
- Personal care, grooming, and dressing
- Bathing and additional hands-on care for qualified HHA/CNA caregivers
What We're Looking For
Candidates must be certified for at least one caregiver level:
- Homemaker: Qualifying Massachusetts Homemaker training certificate
- Personal Care: Qualifying Massachusetts Homemaker + Personal Care training certificate.
- HHA: Qualifying Home Health Aide certification or active CNA License.
- Reliable personal transportation
- Comfortable traveling between client homes for short visits
- Dependable, compassionate, and comfortable providing in-home care
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
