At G.J. Gardner Homes Shepparton, we do things differently. You’ll be working directly alongside experienced senior carpenters and qualified builders, learning custom residential construction from the ground up across the Goulburn Valley.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with timber framing, roof construction, lock-up, and fix-out carpentry.

• Installing windows, doors, and external cladding alongside qualified trades.

• Reading construction plans, taking accurate measurements, and preparing job materials.

• Maintaining tools and ensuring job sites remain safe, clean, and organized.

• Working closely with Senior Carpenters and Supervisors to complete daily build targets.

• Completing your trade school requirements to earn your official Carpentry qualification.

• Traveling to active residential building sites across the Goulburn Valley region.
