Job Summary

Under limited supervision, performs duties following established procedures in the following areas:
 

Essential Functions

• Oversee and lead the case packing team to ensure the timely and accurate packing of products following established guidelines and work orders.
• Ensure that shipping labels are correctly placed on packed cartons to facilitate smooth and accurate delivery.
• Collaborate with the team to assemble pre-packs, displays, and other objects based on specific work orders and customer requirements.
• May use pallet jack or hand truck to move shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Safely store shipments in designated shelves or on the floor, ensuring proper identification and traceability.
• Possess the ability to operate labeling equipment to mark identifying codes on products or packages.
• When required, transport material or supplies to other departments using hand or pallet jacks, ensuring timely delivery.
   

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of the number of items or cartons received, updating the necessary documentation as required.
• Must contribute to department team incentive goals. Team incentive goals and rewards are based on productivity, in both quantity and quality of work and the accuracy to which the job and/or process is completed.  Each team member is dependent upon the contribution level of his/her co-worker.
• Support of and involvement in company, departments, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs, and activities.
• Take responsibility for maintaining a clean, organized, and orderly work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
   

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend; and talk or hear.
• The employee must exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.​
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, field of vision.
