- Reconcile accounts receivable batches to bank deposit
- As necessary, contact customers regarding payment discrepancies
- Coordinate with supervisor and coworkers to ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor and respond to inquiries sent to AR email
- Process refunds to client and brokers
- Process returned payments in 3rd party software and contact client regarding returned payment.

Basic Function
The Cash Applications Specialist is responsible for applying cash to open receivables while ensuring 100% accuracy and maintaining documentation.
Major Job Accountabilities

- Work with appropriate 3rd party payment software to ensure payments are processed, daily
- Research and resolve, within assigned scope, payments without posting instructions
- Reconcile accounts receivable batches to bank deposit
- As necessary, contact customers regarding payment discrepancies
- Coordinate with supervisor and coworkers to ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor and respond to inquiries sent to AR email
- Process refunds to client and brokers

Minimum Qualifications
Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.
Education
- A Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Accounting in business or related field required
Experience
