Cash & Trade Process Intermediate Analyst

This position supports the Global Fund Services billing processes for European markets.

The person in this role will have direct operational responsibilities for invoice production, accounting, reconciliation and investigations including the review of key client invoices. 

This role also includes client query investigations, metrics reporting, performing billing system maintenance tasks, and assistance in process improvements, escalations and risk mitigation.  In addition, this person will also be involved with projects such as enhancing internal controls, standard operating procedure writing, and user acceptance testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice production/review for key clients

• Invoice delivery timely and accurately

• Respond to requests in a timely manner

• Effectively communicating with team members, management, and business partners

• Develop and document procedures and processes

• Analyze reoccurring issues and assist in developing process improvements

• Process payment and accounting entries

• Compile metrics for weekly & monthly reporting to seniors

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies

• Act as a back-up for team lead on day to day functions and be a point of contact as a subject matter expert

• Contribute to change initiatives that improve control and efficiency

• Provide backup coverage for team members

• Identify, escalate, and mitigate areas of key risk in operational processes

• Identify process improvements and lead projects to completion

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in a related role within trade / cash operations management

• Effective verbal and written skills

• Effective communication and analytical skills

• Effective relationship management skills

• Expert level proficiency in Windows, MS Project, and MS Office Suite

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
