Overview
Shift Supervisor
The Shift Supervisor supports daily operations at a shelter by ensuring client services run smoothly, safely, and on time. Working under the Operations Coordinator, they supervise activities, manage schedules, oversee facility safety and cleanliness, and conduct safety checks such as fire drills and substance use screenings. They also help coordinate transportation, track client appointments, and ensure staff follow all health, safety, and privacy rules.
Candidates who do not have a current FDNY-80 (F-80) certificate, must be able to obtain it within 90 days of hire and be open to getting CPR and food handling certifications as needed.

Additional Information
This is a full-time non-exempt role with an hourly rate of $19.81 (annualized at 35 hours a week to $36,071) with a full benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 25 days of paid time off, access to a retirement account with an employer to match, and tuition reimbursement. The compensation offered for this role is dependent on experience and credentials.
This role is located in Flushing, Queens and has a regular schedule of Tuesday-Saturday 8am-4pm.
