What you'll do
- Provides nursing care and completes tasks delegated for all categories of patients served under the general supervision of a registered nurse.
- Utilizes patient's individualized plan of care in providing care and collecting data relating to patients needs and response.
- Provides care in accordance with Houston Healthcare's Plan for the Provision of Nursing Care, standards of care and standards of performance.
- Utilizes surgical instruments, supplies and necessary equipment during surgical procedures.
- Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and ensures safe, quality patient care during the operative procedure.
- Utilizes personal protective equipment, such as gloves, gown and mask, etc.

Work Shift:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to utilize surgical instruments, supplies and necessary equipment during surgical procedures. Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon and has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure safe, quality patient care during the operative procedure. Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment, such as gloves, gown and mask, etc.
