🌍 About the role

We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused IT Specialist to join our Regional Core Technology Operations team in Zambia.

This role sits at the heart of our African technology operations, providing critical support across multiple sites and office locations throughout the region.

As an IT Specialist, you will act as a trusted first point of contact for operational IT support while helping ensure technology services remain reliable, secure, and effective across our African operations. You'll work closely with business users, technical teams, service providers, and vendors to support infrastructure, manage incidents and requests, coordinate technology lifecycle activities, and drive continuous improvement.

💻 What you will be doing

• Deliver IT support by resolving incidents, service requests, and technical issues.
• Support infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, changes, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Coordinate technology assets, vendors, and service delivery activities.
• Partner with stakeholders across Africa to ensure reliable and effective technology operations.
• Developing and delivering differentiated products and service offerings.
• Drive continuous improvement through problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and operational excellence.

✅ What you will bring

• Relevant IT qualifications, certifications, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in IT Operations, infrastructure support, and troubleshooting Microsoft technologies and end-user systems
• Strong incident, service, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience supporting distributed environments, with knowledge of networking technologies and ITSM/ITIL practices
• Experience working with vendors or managed service providers, supported by relevant qualifications or practical IT experience
