Chef de Partie

As a Chef de Partie at British Pullman, A Belmond Train, you are part of a team that creates and produces the highest quality cuisine. Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing the mise en place required for a smooth kitchen operation and ensuring that the section is set prior to service.
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards for the kitchen.
• Ensuring that the quality & quantity standards of preparation and presentation are adhered to.
• Preparing menus in collaboration with colleagues.
• Directing, guiding and assisting commis chefs.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• 1-2 years’ relevant experience within a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry.
• A diploma or relevant certificate from a recognised tertiary educational institution.
• Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative.
• Good administration skills and organisational skills.
• Good knowledge and understanding of food and wine.
