About this role
POSITION SUMMARY
This position requires knowledge and training in chemical application and an eye for detail. Previous experience in the field required. Must have the ability to multi-task. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to complete requests in a timely, accurate, efficient and knowledgeable manner. Good communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Mix, prepare, and apply chemical solutions (e.g., insecticides, herbicides, fungicides) in order to control pests, weeds, or plant disease using a sprayer or spreader. Apply fertilizer and pesticides to turf and non-turf areas. Keep records of fertilizer and pesticide applications by recording written information or entering into appropriate software (e.g., Excel, Trimms). Operate tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment and supplies. Wash, clean, and re-fuel all equipment after use. Maintain turf areas (e.g., putting greens) using appropriate equipment. Mow grass using a riding or walk-behind mower. Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, raking leaves, and performing other lawn maintenance functions as needed. Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report defective equipment, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: Pesticide Applicators License
