Chennai (ex Madras) Mainframe Assembler Developer

Your Role

Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Mainframe Assembler.

Design, code, test, and debug mainframe programs.

Create and maintain JCLs for batch processing and job scheduling activities.

Work on z/OS environment for application support and maintenance.

Analyze and resolve production incidents and performance issues.

Perform impact analysis for change requests and system enhancements.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, testers, and support teams.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Your profile

4–9 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies.

Strong programming expertise in Assembler.

Good experience with JCL development and troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS environment.

Experience in production support and incident management.

Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
