What you'll do
- Should have a clear understanding of manual transmission and its sub systems
- Adequate knowledge on Gear&shaft, Synchronizer, shift system,housing design and bearing selection.
- Should have a hands on experience of 3D CAD software like UG NX ( preferred)
- Adequate knowledge in CAE related to transmission
- Adequate Knowledge in DFMEA, DFC, DFM and DFS
- Should have sufficient knowledge in detailing, tolerance stack up and GD&T
- BOM preparation and maintaining
- Need to have casting and machining process knowledge
- Ability to interact with development team and supplier for component development
- Versatile to work with support system teams and address the integration related concern
- Ability to resolve vehicle level integration and validation concerns
- Ability to address the manufacturing and build issues with supplier and plant team
