What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and schedule the Power Engineering and Refrigeration team to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
- Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration, steam generation, utilities, and related systems.
- Respond to equipment failures and emergencies, coordinate repairs, and minimize operational downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex operational issues and provide technical guidance to support team performance.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and utility consumption.
- Support maintenance and capital projects by providing technical expertise and coordinating activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, and standards governing boilers, pressure vessels, refrigeration systems, and environmental requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies and support site audits and inspections.
- Develop and maintain operating procedures, training programs, and competency plans for Power Engineering personnel.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Health & Safety teams to support plant objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage departmental documentation, contractor activities, and compliance records.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement while living the organization's core values.

Salary scale 005: $84,600$ to $105,800 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)
Where you will drive value:
