- Chairing multi-agency Child Protection Conferences effectively and independently
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of children through robust, outcome-focused planning
- Providing quality assurance and oversight of child protection plans
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners including police, health, education, and legal services
- Ensuring statutory requirements and local procedures are met in all decision-making processes

- Qualified Social Worker (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent)
- Current registration with Social Work England
- Significant post-qualifying experience in child protection and safeguarding
- Demonstrable experience in chairing complex multi-agency meetings

- Post-qualifying award in child protection
- Management or leadership qualification
- Experience in quality assurance within a social care setting
