  • Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of community education programs for child care, siblings and women's health.
  • Contributes to the coordination, planning, implementation and evaluation of special programs as required.
  • Furthers own professional growth and education.
  • Teaches/conducts education programs related to women's and child health.
  • Assesses the participants skills and uses appropriate teaching methods and appropriate media to meet the participants needs.
  • Prepares and presents education sessions and practical instruction using a variety of media.
  • Uses child/adult learning principles in program development and presentations.
  • Consults with the leaders of Women's Health Services or a designee to assist with the development of additional programs and attends meetings to discuss program content, evaluations, and/or revisions as needed.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of the program via evaluation surveys and direct observation.
  • Submits program evaluations to be summarized and reviews summaries of programs for continuous improvement opportunities in modifications and/or additions to current program content and/or delivery.
  • Maintains records of attendance, evaluations and other metrics of program participants.
  • Contribute to the notification of appropriate referral agencies of participants attendance as required. i.e., , WIC for Breast feeding program attendance e Prepares rooms, equipment, materials.

Job Description Summary:

Responsibilities And Duties:
