Growing Up At Obici (at Sentara Obici Hospital) is hiring a Childcare/Teacher

Part-Time, Evening Shift

As a Teacher with Sentara, you will be responsible for the care and learning of children. You will initiate and provide activities appropriate to children in various age groups. The Teacher is responsible for following the curriculum and developing lesson plans for the group of children in their care and manage the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Education

• Associates Level Degree Required

Certification/Licensure

Driver's License - (Required)

Clean DMV Record (Required)
Food Handlers Card - Certification - Food Service Certification w/in 90 days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI w/in 30 days of hire

Experience

• 2 years Childcare (Required)
• Must be able to drive a 14-person van (Required)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $20.43 - $30.09 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
