Registered Manager – 2-Bed Children’s EBD Home Location: L40 Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Hours: Full-time Employment: Permanent opportunity Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for an opportunity to take full ownership of a children’s home and make a genuine difference? I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed EBD children’s home in the L40 area . This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, child-focused manager who wants to take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of a home and help create an environment where children can feel safe, supported and able to thrive. The Role As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the effective operation of the home, ensuring excellent standards of care, safeguarding and compliance are maintained. You will lead the home’s staff team and work closely with children, families and external professionals to ensure each young person receives personalised support that reflects their individual needs and goals. Your responsibilities will include: Taking overall responsibility for the management of the 2-bed home Providing strong and visible leadership to the staff team Ensuring children receive safe, nurturing and high-quality care Maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation Managing safeguarding, incidents, complaints and risk effectively Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are regularly reviewed and updated Recruiting, supervising, supporting and developing staff Building positive relationships with children, families and professionals Working closely with social workers and other agencies Monitoring the quality of care and identifying areas for improvement Preparing for inspections and maintaining excellent regulatory standards Ensuring the home provides a positive, stable and therapeutic environment About You We’re looking for an experienced Registered Manager who has: Previous experience managing a children’s residential home Experience working with EBD / complex needs A strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements Proven leadership and staff-management experience Excellent communication and organisational skills The ability to build strong relationships with children, staff and professionals A proactive approach to quality, compliance and continuous improvement A genuine passion for achieving positive outcomes for children and young people Why This Role?
