What you'll do
- Evaluate workplace exposure to physical and chemical hazards, including: Respirable fiber evaluation, Total inhalable dust evaluation, Respirable dust evaluation, Organic vapors evaluation, Welding fume evaluation, Thermal evaluation
- Control measure evaluations (LEV surveys)
- Support the implementation of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) control systems.
- Conduct comprehensive noise surveys to assess exposure levels.
- Assist with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) assessments.
- Communicate health and safety information to employees, new hires, customers, installers, end users, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with trade organizations to promote joint health and safety programs such as Product Stewardship Programs (PSP) and Control And Reduce Exposure (CARE).
- Support product research initiatives aimed at reducing or eliminating exposure to toxic chemicals through substitution or formulation changes, ensuring all new chemicals undergo a risk assessment approval process.
- Conduct periodic site compliance audits focusing on health risk management, chemical and physical hazards, and adherence to company policies and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare summary reports and support special projects for the Ceramic Fiber Advisory Board (CFAB) that are strategically significant to Unifrax.

Salary Range: €57,437.00 - €71,796.00
