Civil Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to support civil construction and site activities for substation-related projects in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site works, coordinating with project teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining quality, safety, and schedule requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor civil construction activities at site. Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines. Monitor site progress and ensure activities are completed within the project schedule. Conduct site inspections and verify the quality of civil works. Review drawings and identify technical issues or discrepancies. Support preparation of progress reports, site records, and technical documentation. Coordinate material requirements and ensure proper usage at site. Ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements. Support testing, inspection, and handover activities as required. Assist in resolving site-related technical and construction issues. Requirements Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. 5–8 years of relevant civil engineering experience. Experience in substation, utility, infrastructure, or similar projects. Experience with QatarEnergy or Kahramaa substation projects is preferred. Strong knowledge of civil construction activities, drawings, specifications, and site coordination. Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
