Civil Engineer

Responsibilities Develop project schedules, resource allocation plans, and ensure timely execution of civil works. Review and interpret structural drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. Monitor construction activities, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Conduct inspections, verify materials, and ensure adherence to codes and standards. Enforce HSE protocols, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems. Liaise with architects, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues. Prepare daily progress reports, inspection records, and handover documentation. Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and recommend cost-saving measures. Identify construction challenges and propose practical engineering solutions. Suggest innovations in construction methods and materials for efficiency. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech). Minimum 10+ years experience in construction projects (infrastructure, buildings, or civil works). Skills & Competencies Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, and MS Project/Primavera. Strong knowledge of IS codes, ACI, ASTM, and local building regulations. Ability to manage teams and coordinate multi-disciplinary projects. Effective communication and reporting skills. Work location: Kochi, India
