Full description from employer
Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This schedule Monday to Thursday shift runs 0700 to 1730 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Hourly rate: $22.75
- Hours of work might change from time to time according to operational demands
- Reporting directly to the Shunt Coordinator
- Essential responsibilities are trailer movement, trailer staging, trailer quick-checks, and trailer greasing, along with other general shop/yard duties
- Responsible for operation of the forklift and assisting on the dock when needed. Training will be provided.
- Works closely with Shunt Coordinator, Property Services, Fleet Maintenance Manager, Highway and City dispatch, maintenance and the warehouse on daily shunting activities
Candidate Profile
- Company Driver residing in Mississauga or immediate area
- Tractor-trailer over the road driving experience, minimum 12 months
- Previous shunt experience is preferred
- Valid Class 1/AZ license is required
