About the role

As a Class 2 Driver, you'll play a vital role in supporting local communities and businesses by ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a varied role involving collections and deliveries across the local area, with regular customer interaction and a mix of freight types.

You will be responsible for:

• Completing collections and deliveries across Stornoway and surrounding areas

• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

• Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule

• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records

• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers

• Following all road transport legislation, company procedures, and safety standards

About you

You'll hold a valid Class 2 driving licence, along with a Driver CPC and digital tachograph card. Previous multi-drop or delivery experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

You'll thrive in this role if you're dependable, customer-focused, and able to work independently while managing your time effectively. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to safety are essential. Someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service and enjoys being part of a supportive local team will fit in well.
