CLASS 3 DRIVER (local Edmonton work)

CLASS 3 DRIVER

HML is an Edmonton based company that is looking for a Class 3 driver. 

 

Job Duties:

• One ton truck operation with goose neck trailer;
• Move equipment on trailer to various locations in Edmonton area; 
• 
  Occasional Tandem truck operation in and around the Edmonton area;
  
• Operation of sander truck;
• Pick up materials (brick, paving stone, sod) and deliver to site;
• 
  The work is related to our construction scopes;
• Must be able to operate equipment (skid steer, loader, back hoe, mini excavator)
• 
  Must be willing to perform manual labor if required;
• 
  Executing field projects according to instructions provided by dispatch;
• 
  Work with minimal supervision and direction;
• 
  Follow all traffic legislation and;
• 
  Drive and operate according to the company’s safety standards.

Job Requirements:

• 
  3+ years of tandem truck driving experience;
  
• 3+ years of equipment operation experience;
• 
  Maintain logbook as per legislation;
• Knowledgeable about load securement;
• 
  Perform regular equipment preventative maintenance and pre-trips;
• 
  Neat and diligent in maintaining equipment / vehicles;
• 
  CSTS 2020 training;
• 
  Valid Class 3 Driver’s license;
• 
  Clean 5-year commercial driver’s abstract;
• 
  Ability to work long hours (10 – 12 hours per day);
• Ability to work night shifts as needed;
• 
  Commercial vehicle training (can be provided);
• 
  Strong work ethic;
• 
  Safety conscious;
• 
  Must be able to legally work in Canada.
