•    Class “A” surface experience
•    Hi-light experience
•    Stoning experience
•    Able to “feel” for surface defects
•    Metal finish experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Some of the physical demands for this position include being able to lift up to a weight of 40 pounds and the ability to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time.

EQUIPMENT / TOOLS USED

Some of the equipment and tools used are a computer, printer, telephone, photocopier, and fax machine, PPE and an assortment of metrology tools.
 

EDUCATION:  
•    High School Diploma or GED required; with a minimum of 1 year as QA-Auditor, and have proven track record in cosmetic, functional testing and dimensional inspections.

TECHNICAL TRAINING:  GD& T, Weld Standards, Manufacturing Practices, SPC 

OTHER:  Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•    Demonstrated proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools including tape measures, scales, Vernier calipers, etc.
•    Metal Finish experience a plus.
•    Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Express.
•    PDCA/8D/5 why knowledge a plus.


WORK EXPERIENCE

Quality auditing experience in the automotive manufacturing environment
