Shift Type: Full-Time
Shift Days: Friday - Tuesday
Shift Hours: Overnight from 23:00 - 07:00
WAGE: $22.45/ Hourly 

JOB OVERVIEW: You will be responsible for making sure your building looks clean, presentable, and inviting at all times. Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, washrooms, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down glass and other surfaces.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Clean offices, auditoriums, washrooms, kitchen, dining areas, halls, entrances/exits, reception areas and more;
•  Ensure proper sanitization & disinfection procedures are followed;
•  Replenish supplies as needed;
• Ensure garbage disposal in proper bins;
• Clean all dry & wet spills throughout facility as required;
• Maintain & secure storage areas, cleaning equipment & materials in an orderly manner;
• Report equipment repairs and stock shortages;
• Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs;
• Report damage & acts of vandalism;
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment
• Ability to operate floor cleaning machines
• Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
• Ability to read & understand labels & instructions
• Previous custodial experience an asset
• Acceptable security and criminal record check.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass Canadian Background Check
