JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

This position will serve as a Clinic Manager in an Outpatient Clinic with primary responsibilities of supervising a team of Outpatient therapists and if applicable, Outpatient Team Leader. This position will report to the Regional Vice-President and requires a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or approved related field. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide administrative oversight for Outpatient staff (psychiatrist staff, therapists and, nursing staff) and  to include caseload management, handling of referrals, monitoring productivity, and offering guidance and support

• Attend administrative oversight with Regional Vice-President and clinical supervision as appropriate

• Monitor therapy referrals to make ensure there is a disposition within the time frames.

• Complete all required reports accurately and in a timely manner

• Ensure appropriate onboarding and training for all new staff.

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other clinical staff and leaders within Centerstone in order to better facilitate services for clients.

• Assist in trouble shooting with outpatient staff to ensure their success in providing services.

• Develop strategy for coverage of caseloads when an outpatient therapist position is vacant.

• Conduct staff evaluations at intervals determined for all staff on the team.

• Complete Adverse Occurrence Clinical reviews and provide recommendations for improvement. Complete clinical audits as assigned.

• Monitor and correct service and billing failures Interview and hire for vacant positions.

• Coordinate psychiatric and nursing services with the Regional Psychiatrist and Director of Nursing.

QUALIFICATIONS

         

Education Level              

Applicant must have a master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage/Family Therapy or related field required. 

Years of Experience       

Supervisory experience is preferred and/or experience providing behavioral health services with children and teens.

$55,900.00--$78,330.00
