What you'll do
- Providing medical nutrition therapy (nutrition assessment, nutrition support, patient intervention and education) to meet the nutrition care needs of inpatients.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary rounds (Nutrition Support, Dysphagia, Oncology, etc.).
- Interact empathetically and compassionately with a variety of patients with chronic, acute and critical care medical needs.
- Works with the Nutrition Technician and Diet Clerks to coordinate accuracy of diet order and patient menus.

- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required

Job Description:
Under the leadership of the department director and Clinical Nutrition Manager, their assigned Supervisor, the Clinical Dietitian is responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy (nutrition assessment, nutrition support, patient intervention and education) to meet the nutrition care needs of inpatients. The Clinical Dietitian is an active member of the health care team, and participates in multi-disciplinary rounds (Nutrition Support, Dysphagia, Oncology, etc.) The Clinical Dietitian must be able to interact empathetically and compassionately with a variety of patients with chronic, acute and critical care medical needs. The dietitian works with the Nutrition Technician and Diet Clerks to coordinate accuracy of diet order and patient menus.
Experience:
Required:
Fluency, the ability to communicate orally, and the ability to read and write in English. Intermediate computer skills. Assigned Work Hours:
Per diem, varied days and shifts as needed, no set guaranteed hours in a two week pay period. This is not a full or part time position.
