Responsibilities & Requirements
Oncology nutrition services are provided at KH Cancer Care locations by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). The Dietitian is a part of the multidisciplinary team who is responsible for assessment and implementation of Nutrition therapy and education of oncology outpatients who are receiving treatment for a cancer diagnosis. The dietitians also are qualified to discuss diet, nutrition, and lifestyle recommendations for survivorship, health promotion and disease prevention.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree from Didactic Program in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field.Dietetic Internship or Pre-professional Practice Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation/Approval for Dietetics Education of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
