Skills Experience Technical Strong proficiency in Windows Server Operating Systems with comprehensive administrative and troubleshooting expertise Well versed in Active Directory AD DNS DHCP Group Policy Azure AD Azure Update Manager and Azure Defender for identity access and system management Experience in implementing Azure Services IaaS PaaS and SaaS following best practices to secure the resources Proven experience administering Microsoft Office 365 including Exchange Online SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams Familiar with ITIL frameworks and Service Management Processes supporting structured and efficient IT operations Working knowledge of Linux UNIX systems for basic administration and maintenance tasks Skilled in collaborating with third party vendors and remote support teams for multi environment operations and troubleshooting Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure managing competing priorities effectively Experience in cloud migration projects including planning execution and support phases Understanding of Database Administration including knowledge of SQL Server and SQL PaaS services Experience in virtualization technologies like VMWare Hyper V HCI Hands on experience with network administration including configuration and monitoring Extensive knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code IaC practices with hands on experience using ARM templates for configuration management automation and orchestration Holds Cybersecurity certifications reinforcing best practices in securing infrastructure and data Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies including PMP and PRINCE2 Familiarity with architecture frameworks to support system design and enterprise level planning Process Experience of working in environments aligned to governance and service delivery frameworks such as ITIL COBIT ISO27001 Understanding of Business Process Management and the integration with Applications and Data Soft Skills Strong Analytical and problem solving skills Clear and concise communication style in written and spoken English Ability to translate between technical terms and business language Good interpersonal skills required for building relationships with business users internal and 3rd party technical teams Willingness to learn and broaden technical skill sets to adapt to the changing technology landscape Education Qualifications Bachelors in Info communication technology or equivalent Microsoft Certifications on the Azure Platform e g AZ 104 AZ 303 AZ 304 AZ 500 Minimum 10 years experience in hands on system administration Proven experience implementing and managing Azure Services IaaS PaaS Proven experience in working with Hybrid Azure environments Nice to have Key Responsibilities Undertake Issue Resolution Problem Management and Change Management activities in line with customer Service Level Agreements SLAs Execute BAU maintenance and management tasks to promote an efficient secure and reliable infrastructure services environment Facilitate system backup procedures and manage Disaster Recovery Business Continuity processes in the event of system failures Plan design build test and deploy systems according to project requirements architecture principles and technology standards Develop systems operations handbooks knowledge base articles and system documentation to support information sharing and deepen understanding of the operating environment Create document and deploy task automation to improve BAU process efficiency using tools such as PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code solutions e g ARM templates Conduct system compliance reporting and vulnerability assessments to prioritize remediation activities and security patching Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to the customer to address gaps in infrastructure services capability
