As a Cloud & Systems Engineer in our Managed Services team, you’ll play a key role in designing, delivering, and supporting secure and scalable cloud solutions for our clients. You’ll work across Microsoft Azure, M365, AVD, and hybrid environments, providing hands-on engineering expertise while ensuring outstanding service delivery.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives under pressure, and wants to grow in a fast-moving environment where security, reliability, and customer satisfaction are top priorities.

Having an existing NV1 security clearance is required for this role.

Requirements

What you'll do:

    • Work as part of our Professional Services team, supporting a broad range of enterprise and government clients.
    • Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure and related technologies.
    • Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support across ICT systems and services.
    • Troubleshoot and manage:
      • Active Directory & Azure AD
      • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
      • Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online/Hybrid)
      • Windows Server and core infrastructure
    • Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep) to maintain configuration control and repeatability.
    • Monitor, tune, and optimise system performance, ensuring availability, resilience, and compliance.
    • Own issues end-to-end from first report to resolution keeping stakeholders informed throughout.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve complex or escalated incidents.
    • Stay ahead of the curve by researching and recommending emerging technologies and service improvements.

What You’ll Bring

    • Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator / Systems Administrator / IT Support Engineer, ideally in a Managed Services or enterprise environment.
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, as well as hybrid workplace environments.
    • Solid knowledge of Windows Server, virtualisation, networking (LAN/WAN), and enterprise security.
    • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, M365, AVD, and Exchange.
    • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent).
    • Proficiency with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar) and structured incident/change management processes.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and perform under pressure.
    • Eligibility to hold or ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
