Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to manufacture precision parts in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Program CNC machines as required, interpret G-code, and adjust programs to optimize machining processes.
- Conduct regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining and machine-related issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with team members and engineers to improve machine performance and production efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest CNC machining technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Operative or Machinist in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation, including G-code proficiency.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files accurately.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools and quality control techniques.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
