Responsibilities:
Join DMH-USA, a trusted partner of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, as a CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machines used to manufacture precision components from metal and/or plastic materials. The ideal candidate will be experienced in G-code and M-code programming, machine setup, tooling selection, process improvement, and quality verification to ensure efficient production and high-quality results.
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code, M-code, and CAM software.
Set up CNC mills, lathes, routers, and other machining equipment for production runs.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T requirements, and work instructions.
Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices.
Establish machine offsets, tool lengths, and machine parameters.
Conduct first-piece inspections and verify product conformance to specifications.
Troubleshoot programming, tooling, machine, and quality issues.
Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce scrap.
Maintain accurate documentation of setup sheets, tooling requirements, programs, and process changes.
Train and support machine operators on setup requirements and production processes.
Ensure compliance with all company safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Perform preventive maintenance and basic machine upkeep as required.
Supports lean manufacturing through 5S methodology: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree
3+ years of CNC programming and machine setup experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
Experience setting up CNC milling and/or turning equipment.
Strong knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position; lift up to 50 pounds and standing for 4or more hours at a time.
Basic English reading and speaking skills required to understand work instructions and safety information.

Hourly Rate: $26.00 – $33.00 per hour (final offer within this range based on skills, experience, and internal equity)
