Coating Inspection

Job Title: Coating Inspection Duration: 1 week Schedule: Start next week 21st September Location: Inverness This opportunity supports a company operating in oil and gas, testing and inspection services for construction. The role is focused on coating inspections across fabrication and pipe spool activities, with a strong emphasis on surface preparation, blast profile inspection, DFT measurements and holiday testing. This position offers the chance to contribute technical quality support within coating inspection work linked to fabrication yard projects. Key Responsibilities: Carry out coating inspections across fabrication and pipe spool coating activities. Perform surface preparation inspections in line with project requirements. Complete blast profile inspection activities. Undertake DFT measurements as part of coating quality verification. Conduct holiday testing to support inspection and quality outcomes. Support fabrication yard inspection activities within coating-related scopes. Required Education & Certifications: ICorr Level 2 (Required) BGAS Level 2 (Required) FROSIO Level 2 (Required) Required Skills: Technical capability in coating inspections. Knowledge of surface preparation inspections. Ability to carry out blast profile inspection. Experience with DFT measurements. Ability to perform holiday testing. QA/QC understanding within coating and painting inspection activities. Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Pipeline coating experience. Offshore wind fabrication yard experience.
