Role Summary & Role Description
State Street’s GTS - Technology Platform Engineering & Operations team is looking to hire SharePoint Subject Matter Expert – AVP to provide expertise and leadership in the technical design, solutioning and resiliency for SharePoint Services. Working with the collab tower lead & architects, this person will be primarily responsible for leading the Engineering program related to SharePoint tools; the future state, design, documentation and interdependencies of solutions within these platforms is the core focus. Individual should be able to work efficiently and collaborate with various teammates to deliver on their goals leveraging modern tools, technologies, and processes through simplification and automation while always providing superior service to our stakeholders
As the SharePoint - Subject Matter Expert you will:
Develop solutions that meet business and technical requirements for associated platforms.
Work directly with engineering, operations and change management teams to implement solutions designs.
Modernize State Street’s primary file repository & collaboration landing zones
Drive product solutions to the cloud
Work with Security & Compliance teams to ensure products and associated applications meet requirements
Work with cyber security teams to mitigate risky activity within the environment
Own solution and engineering documentation
Prepare for, and take part in, internal audit activities
Conduct bi-annual reviews of internal documentation & processes. Create remediation plans based on findings
Implement automations for repeatable tasks
Liaise with the Collaboration Services Center of Excellence team in order to build repeatable / scalable product solutions for internal customers
Work with management and the strategy team to define long term solution & environment roadmaps
Provide L3/4 support in the event of major incidents.
Working with engineering, develop streamlined and automated Service Now & SailPoint workflows
Work to reduce tech debt; routinely look for and offer up rationalization proposals
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent technical degree.
Total experience of 15+ years in the IT Industry in infrastructure space where 10+ years of experience is in providing hands on SharePoint Services.

Detailed understanding of SharePoint product lines
SharePoint / Microsoft MS-300, or SC-400 or MS Teamwork Admin certifications
Ability to work independently as well as lead others toward a common goal.
PowerShell / Power Automate & Python or similar scripting tools
Deep understanding of data retention policies & Technical knowledge regarding conditional access
Good to have skills
Energetic self-starter who is a detailed and organized critical thinker and problem solver
Respected leader with the ability to influence and represent perspectives of others
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact successfully with all levels of the customer organization
