Job Title: Collection Specialist
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Collection Specialist to manage customer interactions related to loan repayments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating customers on repayment obligations, resolving payment-related queries, and ensuring timely collections while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers through inbound and outbound calls regarding loan repayments and overdue accounts.
- Communicate key loan details, including outstanding dues, repayment schedules, interest charges, processing fees, due dates, and applicable penalty charges.
- Educate customers on the available payment modes and guide them through the repayment process.
- Resolve customer queries related to loan disbursal, repayments, payment confirmations, and account status.
- Negotiate repayment commitments while adhering to company policies and collection guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and follow-up activities in the CRM system.
- Ensure timely collections while delivering a professional and customer-centric experience.
- Adhere to regulatory guidelines, compliance standards, and internal quality processes during all customer interactions.
Eligibility Criteria
- 12th Pass (PUC) or Any Graduate.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in collections, telecalling, customer service, BPO, or voice process is an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (additional regional languages are an advantage).
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Good customer handling and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office or CRM tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
Preferred Experience
- Freshers as well as candidates with experience in Collections, Customer Support, Telecalling, Voice Process, or BPO are encouraged to apply.
