Commercial Assistant
Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent, 42.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £33,000 + company benefits 

Join us on our new, exciting contract in Birmingham!

Mears Group is delivering a long-term social housing repairs and maintenance partnership across Birmingham. The contract includes diverse workstreams including responsive repairs, planned maintenance and compliance services, with a strong focus on customer service, quality and community investment.

Due to continued growth across the contract, opportunities are available for experienced Commercial Administrators, located in our central Birmingham office.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Commercial Assistant to join our team, focusing on planned works support. You'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day administrative functions across our planned works operations, ensuring all processes run smoothly and in line with company procedures.

This role involves working closely with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and residents to deliver accurate, timely, and professional support. You’ll be responsible for handling communications, managing purchase orders and invoices, maintaining records, and ensuring customer experience remains central to everything we do.
