  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, legal requirements, and regulatory standards applicable to the construction industry.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of contracts including key terms, expiration dates and renewal options.
  • Prepare, review, and issue formal correspondence, including notices, requests, and responses, to stakeholders, contractors, and clients in compliance with contract requirements, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Process and manage change orders, variations, and amendments to existing contracts as necessary.
  • Review proposed changes, assess their impact on project scope, schedule, and budget, and negotiate terms and conditions with relevant parties.
  • Handle contract-related claims, disputes, and conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with legal counsel, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve disputes in a timely and amicable manner, minimizing disruption to project progress.

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in a commercial or administrative role within the construction industry, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities.

  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate in diverse, cross-functional teams within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Job Description

Commercial Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing contractual agreements, overseeing contract administration processes, facilitating communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. By effectively managing contracts and related activities, Commercial Coordinator contributes to the successful execution and delivery of the project within established parameters and objectives.

  • Support the Contracts Manager with any other daily commercial/contractual activities as needed.

This role offers an annual base salary in the anticipated range of $90,000–$120,000 CAD, with compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
