Brown & Brown is seeking a Technical Assistant to join our growing team in Brentwood, TN. 

 

The Technical Assistant will assist a designated department with administrative tasks while gaining knowledge of the insurance industry. The Technical Assistant will also support team collaboration, ensuring compliance with regulations. 

 

How You Will Contribute: 

  • Assist a designated department with administrative tasks while learning the Insurance Industry 

  • Answer phones, route calls, and take/deliver messages 

  • Perform data entry, invoicing, policy checks, endorsements, renewal preparation and file maintenance 

  • Create reports and assist with sending out renewals 

  • Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown 

  • Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures 

  • Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills 

  • Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality 

 

Licenses and Certifications:  

  • Willingness to obtain an insurance license  

 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:  

  • 1+ years office administration experience, preferred 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
