The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineering Manager to lead and develop our UK-based Commissioning Engineering organisation, supporting the successful delivery of major HVDC, High Voltage (HV), Substation, and Grid Integration projects.

This is a people leadership role focused on building organisational capability, developing engineering talent, and ensuring the availability of skilled commissioning resources to support project execution, tendering activities, and future business growth. Working closely with Project Commissioning Managers, Project Directors, Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams, you will play a key role in delivering critical energy infrastructure projects that support the transition to a more sustainable and reliable power network.

This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of the commissioning function in the UK while leading a team of highly skilled engineers working on some of the industry's most complex and innovative projects.
