What you'll do

  • Responsible for the overall operations and administrative management of assigned community
  • Oversee the leasing process, including conducting property tours, processing applications, preparing leases, and ensuring timely move-ins
  • Manage occupancy levels and implement strategies to maximize resident retention
  • Maintain a level of service excellence in all interactions with residents, vendors, staff, and colleagues

  • Review and accept seasonal service contracts negotiated by the corporate office. Obtain additional bids when necessary

DSI Real Estate Group is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Apartment Manager to lead our residential community based in the East Side of Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will create a positive living experience for our tenants, foster relationships, and manage day-to-day community operations.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for the overall operations and administrative management of assigned community
  • Oversee the leasing process, including conducting property tours, processing applications, preparing leases, and ensuring timely move-ins.
  • Manage occupancy levels and implement strategies to maximize resident retention.
  • Maintain a level of service excellence in all interactions with residents, vendors, staff, and colleagues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests.
  • Generate and maintain lead management and availability reports.
  • Cultivate and maintain community relationships, including establishing connections with local businesses to explore potential benefits for tenants.

  • Monitor and contact tenants to collect rent due.
The successful candidate will have:
  • High School Diploma or GED, along with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in property management is required.
  • Experience with a multi-building apartment complex is preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and a track record for exceeding customer expectations.
